Frequently Asked Questions

When are your worship service times?

Our worship services are held every Sunday at 10:30AM. We open our main church doors at 10am.

Sometimes, we hold our services at slightly different times (at Christmas and Easter for example) but we always advertise these in advance.

Do you have separate activities for children?

This isn't something we currently offer though children of all ages are more than welcome to join us for our Sunday Service. The service will include a Children's Talk which is actually beneficial for the adults too! We have a box of toys at the back of church for younger children and have Activity Bags for children in Primary School on hooks in our entrance. It will be really helpful if you could put them back again after the service.

What happens after the Sunday Service?

You are more than welcome to remain after the Sunday Service and join us for fellowship and refreshments. This is a great way to get to know the wider church family. We use the church hall for this.

What do I wear to church?

Some people prefer to wear their 'Sunday best' and some are more relaxed. We just ask you to dress respectfully (and wear something warm in winter!).

How do I contact the church?

You can contact Sarah Boldero, the administrator of the church, by using our Contact Form which is located in the Contact page. Please specify if you particularly want Pastor Mark Pratt to get in touch.

How can I contact the pastor directly?

Just use the Contact Form in the Contact page, but specify that you'd like to get in touch with Pastor Mark Pratt.

How do I join in with the Bible Study group and when is it held?

Unfortunately, we need to pause our Bible study group due to secular work commitments. These will restart soon.

Our Bible study group is held on alternate Tuesdays at 10am. It is held in our meeting room at the back of church. You don't have to be a regular church attender to participate. Each session will be led by Pastor Mark Pratt and will involve Bible reading, questions, discussion, and prayer. You won't be put on the spot at all if you'd just like to observe. Refreshments will be provided. Look at our Events page for the dates.

Do you offer courses?

We are still in the planning stages of running a course. There's so much to choose from but each one takes time to prepare for. Watch this space! We are hoping to run a Get to Know You course soon for those people who are maybe new to church but want to become more involved, or for those who have been coming awhile but want to explore membership.

What community events do you run?

We hold a monthly Saturday coffee morning (10 - 11.30pm) though this needs to be paused due to secular work commitments. We hope to run again after the summer.

We currently host a Ladies only Zumba class on Monday at 10am and Wednesday at 7pm. Both are taught by the wonderfully energetic Edith. These classes are funding by Active Surrey so are free though we welcome donations if you are able. Donations can be given through the QR code on the advertising poster in the hall, or by looking at the Donate page on the website.

Do you have a prayer session?

Unfortunately, we need to pause our monthly Prayer & Praise session due to secular work commitments. We hope to resume after the summer.

In September 2024, we will be holding a monthly Prayer & Praise session from 5.30 - 6.30pm. We will hold this in the main church and it will be an opportunity to meet together to sing worship to God, to praise Him, and to pray to Him. We will hold this on the first Sunday of each month. Please don't feel that you have to be a regular to our church to come along.

Can I hire your hall?

Please contact us using the contact page if you'd like to make an enquiry. We only hire out to community groups or individuals who want to host something regular to help the community. We do not hire our hall for birthday parties. Please be aware that, as a church, we have strict guidelines about the type of activity we can hold on our premises.

Where are you located?

We are located on Viscount Road, just by Osbon Pharmacy and Sainsbury's Local. There is a small car park but plenty of parking on the nearby streets / by the shops.
